I really hate reality shows…

January 20, 2013

but i have to say, i’m really enjoying ‘The Biggest Loser’.

In a world of glorified, made up and make believe people who we’re supposed to believe are important, it’s refreshing to see a show where it’s not about vanity, but about making that big decision to change your life.

Watching the big black guy lose 14 lbs in one week and break down over his accomplishment moved me. Props to him and color me impressed. Too many people sit back and accept their lot and want the world to adapt to them.

Others get up, say enoughs enough and take responsibility for themselves.

I don’t know if she’s still reading my blog, but a huge shout to my friend named after a friendly little white robot in a Disney film.. she’s lost 52 lbs in the last couple of weeks.. maybe last 2 months, i haven’t been keeping track. But she looks like a completely new girl. You can see the light coming back and joy in reclaiming her life.

And she’ll be beating guys off with a stick at this rate. And i couldn’t be happier for her. It’s been a long time coming and i wish her all the best for the future.

The Biggest Loser. More of this.

Real House Whores of Vancouver. Take this shit of my TV!

That is all.. carry on.

  1. We do need more people taking responsibility for themselves. But it’s too bad most of those people will regain their weight once they slowly get back into their old habits.

  2. If you want more material to rant about, TLC is coming out with a new series “Geek Love”. Having read some red-pill stuff, I can see the whole 9 yards – beta behavior, LJBF, supplication, etc.

What some of these guys go through is rather sad because it’s so avoidable.

  3. Tell her to use her hand.

  4. Ashley has it right. Yeah, way better than everything else, but their methods and mindsets are really horrible for long term success.

  5. I think you, Danny, Rollo, Roissy et al should start a Manosphere TV channel.

  6. That’s it wiseguy.. yer going into timeout!

  7. I’m watching Geek Love during my timeout.

After watching the first ep, it occurs to me that I could totally clean up at Comicon.

The bar for looks and game is set pretty low. Host guy is charismatic but fat.

The hot girls are all into anime. I wonder if they watch tentacle porn.

  8. Though I hardly watch TV with the exception of the Food Network and football games. Other than that I spend my time reading instapundit, Barstool sports, The Manosphere which I stumbled upon just this past fall by typing in “how do you attract women” into bing (I know a total beta/gamma/delta/omega type question.) Which started weirdly with Athol cause for some reason bing must have thought I was just successful enough in my lower level status that I must have been married even though I’ve been incel for as long as I’ve been aware of sex. Sorry for the ramble.

  9. I generally prefer that girls beat me off with their hand, but whatever floats your boat!

  10. Bollocks, when will I learn to check the comments first to see if some other smartarse has made the same joke…

  11. […] I really hate reality shows… « M3 […]

  12. @Vicomte

Only some of us do. ;)

I love Comicon, I didn’t get to go this year since my boss and two coworkers went instead, but I’ve gone for the last 6 years. The awesome costumes, the booth babes, the creative teams doing signings, Joe Quesada behind bulletproof glass because he DESTROYED Spiderman…it’s great. I one day want to go to San Diego Comicon, but for now I have to content myself with NYC.

  13. @ARoss

Hello! So, since you’ve only read about the Manosphere for a few months, what new conclusions have you reached? I hope that what you’ve found thusfar has been helpful…

  14. I hear you M3, biggest loser is one of my favourite shows. It’s great to watch people slowly ‘get it’ over the course of a season. I like seeing their physical progress, but what is more interesting is the change in attitude as the contestants make it deeper into the show.

I really wonder if this show is more about gaining confidence and a purpose in life, than it is about losing weight. It seems as though the true winners learn to respect themselves, and the weight takes care of itself ( and fast!).

  15. Anna, I’ve reached the conclusion that I wish I could have found this 6-10 years ago and/or followed my dad’s lead.

  16. The bachelor is a really good show to watch post pill actually. check it out.

  17. Props to your friend on the weight loss!
